This excellent red by Blankbottle wines will not disappoint. The pinotage grape is a cross between pinot noir and cinsault & has long been scorned by wine lovers; but in recent years there has been a revival: pinotage has grabbed the attention of some really excellent winemakers including Pieter from Blankbottle winery who has avoided the pitfalls of over-ripening, overcropping, over-extracting, over-oaking to make a wine to be proud of. 14% ABV
